Christopher Snailham has supported bereaved families since August 2000. Having grown up in Senghenydd and lived throughout the Caerphilly area, Christopher has a strong connection to the communities he serves and an understanding of local traditions, families and funeral arrangements.
After more than 23 years working with two local funeral directors, Christopher took the opportunity in 2023 to establish Christopher Snailham & Family Funeral Directors with the support of his family.
The aim was to create something genuinely personal: an independent funeral director where families can receive compassionate, professional guidance without being passed between departments, call centres or different members of staff.
Personal care means being there from the first conversation, throughout the arrangements and through to the day of the funeral.

Christopher undertook professional study beginning in 2017 and was awarded the Diploma in Funeral Directing (Dip.FD).
